Our Team
At Taylor Ashley Therapy, we’re committed to making high-quality mental health care more accessible, without compromising on the values and standards that guide our practice. We’re excited to welcome advanced-level therapy interns who bring years of experience and a deep dedication to client care.
Our interns offer virtual therapy sessions for convenience and accessibility, making support more reachable than ever. Each intern is closely supervised by Taylor Ashley and an experienced registered supervisor, ensuring alignment with our trauma-informed, client-centred approach.
Sessions with interns are often covered by insurance plans that include psychotherapy or Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying).
We truly believe in the skills, compassion, and presence these interns bring. This is affordable care—with heart, integrity, and professional support.
Session Rates:
Therapy sessions are offered at a reduced rate of $65 per hour or per 90-minute session.
A sliding scale is also available and can be discussed to help make therapy more accessible based on your individual circumstances.

Accepting New Clients
Sejal Katyal
Hi there! I’m Sejal (she/her), and I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, graduating in 2026. I’m drawn to this field because I care deeply about how people understand their inner experiences, their relationships, and the moments in life that feel heavier or more confusing than expected.
Many people consider therapy when something no longer feels familiar or comfortable, whether that means feeling distant from a partner, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure about what has been shifting inside. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, notice what you have been carrying, and understand yourself with more clarity and compassion.
My approach is integrated and informed by Internal Family Systems. I do not believe that one model works for everyone. Instead, I focus on getting to know your experiences, your patterns, and the inner parts of you that might be holding worry, stress, or old emotional habits. I often draw on relationship-focused and emotion-centered perspectives to help people deepen their connection to themselves and the people in their lives.
Before beginning my counselling journey, I worked with both neurodiverse and neurotypical individuals while supporting the development of emotional awareness, communication skills, and regulation strategies. This work taught me the importance of presence, patience, and meeting people exactly where they are. These values guide the way I show up as a therapist.
My intention is to create a space where you feel grounded, understood, and able to be yourself without pressure. I care about moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you and exploring your experiences with curiosity and care. Together, we can work toward a stronger sense of steadiness, connection, and possibility in your life and relationships.
